Our commitment is to provide a spotless experience with the utmost professionalism, transparency, and care. This policy outlines the key terms and conditions governing our services for all valued clients, including our subscription members.
 

Please Note: This policy forms a part of your agreement with Abode & Beyond LLC. Your specific service details (e.g., frequency, tasks) are outlined in your personalized Subscription Agreement or Service Quote. By booking or maintaining service with us, you agree to these terms.
 

1. Service Commitment

Abode & Beyond LLC pledges to perform all cleaning services to the highest standards, employing trained, vetted, and background-checked professionals and using high-quality, eco-friendly products where appropriate. We handle your property with extreme care, respect, and attention to detail. Your satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to exceed your expectations with every clean.
 

2. Scope of Service

The specific details of your cleaning package, including frequency, duration, and included tasks, are precisely outlined in your Subscription Agreement or Service Quote. Any requests for additional services beyond your agreed-upon package may incur extra charges. To ensure proper scheduling and pricing for add-ons, please contact us in advance to arrange these additional services.
 

3. Access to Property

You're responsible for ensuring safe, clear, and unobstructed access to your property on your scheduled service days. This includes providing entry methods (e.g., keys, alarm codes as per our Key Policy) or ensuring someone is present to grant access. If our team is unable to access your property upon arrival (e.g., locked out, blocked entry), resulting in a missed appointment, a cancellation/lock-out fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost will apply to cover our operational costs and compensate our team. Please leave any necessary notes for your cleaning professionals in advance of your appointment.
 

4. Cancellation Policy

We understand that unforeseen circumstances arise. To avoid charges, please provide us with at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellation.

  • Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice: Won't incur any charges.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment: Will incur a 50% penalty fee of the service cost. This policy helps cover our operational costs and ensures fair compensation for our team's scheduled time.
     

5. Rescheduling Policy

We offer flexibility for rescheduling requests.

  • Rescheduling requests made with more than 24 hours' notice: Won't incur additional charges.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment: Will incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the service cost. While we strive to accommodate changes, last-minute adjustments significantly impact our scheduling and team allocation. We understand emergencies happen; please contact us as soon as possible if an issue arises.
     

6. Payment Terms

Subscription payments are processed [e.g., monthly/weekly] in advance of services rendered, as per your Subscription Agreement. For one-time services, payment is due in full prior to the commencement of the cleaning. All payments must be made in full to ensure uninterrupted future cleanings. We accept [list accepted payment methods, e.g., major credit cards, direct debit].
 

7. Feedback & Concerns

Your feedback is invaluable to us. If you have any concerns regarding a service, please contact us within 24 hours of completion. We commit to addressing all valid concerns promptly and professionally.
 

8. Liability & Insurance

While Abode & Beyond LLC exercises extreme caution and care, we carry comprehensive general liability insurance for accidental damages that may occur during service. Our policies cover damages directly caused by our team's negligence. Clients are strongly encouraged to secure or remove valuable, fragile, or sentimental items (jewelry, cash, important documents, easily breakable decor) before our arrival.
 

9. Service Guarantee & Refund Policy

Our Promise: Abode & Beyond LLC strives for 100% client satisfaction. If you're not completely satisfied with a specific aspect of your cleaning service, please notify us within 24 hours of completion. Resolution: Upon timely notification, and given reasonable justification for unsatisfactory performance, we'll return to re-clean the disputed area(s) at no additional charge. This re-clean must be scheduled within 24 hours of the original service. No refunds will be issued if the client declines a re-clean opportunity or if notification falls outside the 24-hour window. Refunds are generally not offered for services performed, beyond the scope of this guarantee.
 

10. Service Limitations and Exclusions

For the safety of our team and to maintain professional boundaries, Abode & Beyond LLC doesn't provide the following services unless explicitly agreed upon in a custom Subscription Agreement:

  • Hazardous Materials: Our personnel won't handle or dispose of hazardous waste, medical waste, biohazards (e.g., bodily fluids, mold beyond a certain size, insect/rodent infestations), or any items that pose a health risk. We reserve the right to decline service if such conditions are observed.

  • Heavy Lifting/Moving: For the safety of our team, we don't move heavy furniture, large appliances, or oversized items. Please ensure areas to be cleaned are accessible.

  • Exterior Cleaning: Unless explicitly agreed upon in your custom Subscription Agreement, our services are strictly limited to the interior of the property. This excludes exterior windows, power washing, yard work, and gutter cleaning.

  • High-Reach Areas: Cleaning requiring heights above a two-step ladder (approximately 8 feet) isn't included due to safety concerns, unless specific equipment and a prior written agreement are in place.
     

11. Client Responsibilities Prior to Service

To ensure the most effective and efficient cleaning service, we kindly request clients to:

  • Secure Valuables: While we're insured, we strongly advise clients to secure or remove valuable, fragile, or sentimental items prior to our arrival. This includes jewelry, cash, important documents, and easily breakable decor.

  • Pet Containment: For the safety and comfort of both our cleaning professionals and your beloved pets, please ensure all pets are secured or kept away from the cleaning areas during service hours. We aren't responsible for pets that escape due to uncontained environments.

  • Temperature Control: Please ensure your property's heating or air conditioning is set to a comfortable operating temperature (e.g., between 68-75 degrees Fahrenheit) for the safety and comfort of our cleaning professionals.

  • Clear Clutter: To maximize cleaning efficiency, please tidy up loose items, toys, clothing, or excessive clutter from surfaces and floors in areas to be cleaned. Our team will focus on cleaning, not organizing.
     

12. Damages and Breakage Policy

  • Reporting Damages: In the unlikely event of damage, Abode & Beyond LLC commits to promptly informing the client. We request clients report any perceived damages within 24 hours of service completion, ideally with supporting photographic evidence, to allow for immediate investigation and resolution.

  • Resolution Process: If damage is determined to be directly caused by our team's negligence, Abode & Beyond LLC will, at its discretion, repair or provide monetary compensation for the damaged item. Compensation will be based on the item's current market value, taking into account depreciation, and not replacement value. Clients may be required to file a claim with our insurance provider, which our team will assist in processing.

  • Pre-Existing Conditions: Abode & Beyond LLC isn't responsible for damage to items that are unstable, pre-damaged, improperly secured, or fragile due to age, material, or prior damage. This includes, but isn't limited to, loose fixtures, wobbly furniture, improperly hung pictures, or items that show signs of wear and tear.
     

13. Pricing Adjustments & Surcharges

  • Initial Clean/First-Time Service: For your first service with Abode & Beyond LLC, an "Initial Clean" or "Deep Clean" rate may apply, as it often requires more time and effort to bring the property to a maintainable standard. This will be clearly communicated during the quoting or booking process. If a property booked as a "standard" clean is deemed by our team to require a "deep clean" due to excessive dirt or disorder, we'll contact you to approve a one-time deep clean surcharge before proceeding.

  • Excessive Dirt/Disorder: If a property is found to be excessively dirty or disorganized beyond what was initially assessed or expected for a recurring service (e.g., extreme clutter, excessive pet hair, heavy grime build-up), Abode & Beyond LLC reserves the right to adjust the service time or rate, or reschedule the service. Any such adjustments will be communicated to the client prior to proceeding.

  • Add-On Services: Any services requested outside the agreed-upon subscription package will be quoted and charged separately. Examples include interior oven cleaning, interior refrigerator cleaning, laundry service, or extensive organization tasks.

  • Holiday Surcharge: Services scheduled on major holidays (as determined by Abode & Beyond LLC) may incur an additional surcharge. Clients will be notified in advance of such charges.
     

14. Force Majeure Clause

Abode & Beyond LLC won't be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under this policy if such failure or delay is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, natural disasters, epidemics, significant utility outages, or severe weather conditions. In such events, we'll make reasonable efforts to reschedule services as soon as feasible and will communicate any changes promptly
 

15. Confidentiality & Data Privacy

Abode & Beyond LLC is committed to protecting your privacy. All client information, including contact details, property access information, service preferences, and payment details, will be kept strictly confidential. We won't share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide services, process payments, or as required by law.
 

16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

This policy and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the services provided by Abode & Beyond LLC will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under this Agreement will first be attempted to be resolved amicably through good-faith discussions.
 

17. Severability

If any provision of this policy is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity, legality, and enforceability of the remaining provisions won't in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
 

18. Entire Agreement

This policy, together with your specific Subscription Agreement or Service Quote, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Abode & Beyond LLC regarding the services provided, superseding all prior or contemporaneous agreements, understandings, communications, and representations, whether written or oral.
 

19. Amendments to Policy

Abode & Beyond LLC reserves the right to revise, modify, or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and will be effective immediately upon posting. For significant changes, we'll endeavor to notify our active clients directly. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

In conclusion, these policies are designed to ensure transparency, protect both our valued clients and our business, and allow us to consistently deliver the best possible cleaning results. By maintaining your subscription or making a one-time purchase, you agree to these terms above.
